We started working with Dóra Pál in November 2023. When she approached us, she entrusted us with the challenging task of assisting in marketing and communicating her personal brand. At first, it seemed like a general self-branding task, but the challenge lay in the fact that she is a painter.
In November, Dóra, who creates under the name Bydorapal, came to us with a few oil paintings, illustrations, and great hopes. The number of paintings grew, and her hopes turned into reality.
During the 9 months of work, we helped Dóra build and communicate her personal brand through a self-branding course. Additionally, we increased her visibility through continuous online campaigns. Her most active communication platforms are Instagram and LinkedIn.
Thanks to the advertisements, she has received numerous exciting inquiries. These include being approached for interior design and execution of a café, product packaging design, appearances in New York newspapers, and unique commissions.
During the summer, Dóra also started her exhibitions. Her works have been displayed at a golf tournament, a prestigious dental conference, and the Conscious Women Conference.
An online campaign led to Blanka Bán, an art historian and cultural manager at the Museum of Fine Arts-Hungarian National Gallery, noticing Dóra’s art. Blanka is responsible for the contemporary exhibitions at the Aranybástya restaurant in Budapest. After several consultations and many hours of painting, the opening of Bydorapal’s REBORN series exhibition was held on July 1st at the magnificent Lónyai-Hatvany villa. The paintings will be on display on the restaurant’s walls for 2.5 months.
The successes of the campaigns are reflected not only in the wonderful exhibitions and appearances but also in the increase in followers and the high number of engagements. The number of Instagram followers has grown sixfold in recent months. Given that the budget for the online campaigns falls into the lower category and the field is very specific and small, we are especially proud of the achievements.

- When shall I first think of advertising on TikTok?
As always when it gets to communication, think of your target audience. If your target group is amongst the 13-17 or 18-24 then you seriously need to consider this channel. These youngsters spend more than an hour on TikTok daily and they check the app more than 20 times per day. Of course, only on mobile – where else?
- What to you Tiktok for as a corporate advertiser?
Basically, there are different campaign goals on TikTok such as traffic, lead generation, video views, app downloads, reach, conversion etc. similarly to Facebook. You need to pick to most suitable to your marketing goal. Our agency experiences show that the best results can be achieved on reach, traffic and video view goals which is based on the channel dynamics and usage habits. TikTok is made for video views by default, consuming lots of content in a raw. It is way harder to ask users to fill in a lead gen form via exiting the video flow. Of course, it is not impossible, just much harder to work around.
Our TikTok campaigns showed that this channel is perfect to build up reach and brand awareness quickly and at a great CPM within the target.

4. What to pay attention when advertising on TikTok?
Think of mobile and video only, nothing else! The video content needs to be short and crisp always with music or sound effects. You goal should be to stand out which is not an easy task on TikTok.
In your TikTok ads, you can only ad a very short text therefore your video needs to convey the key messages. When talking about videos, always pick your thumbnail image and CTA button carefully.
Then target well! Similarly to Facebook, you can filter by age, gender, interest, location, device and by schedule as well.
